Hide individual tabs in the personnel file
(How) Can I hide individual tabs (tabs) in the personnel file?
You can define which tabs should be visible in the employee's personnel file and which should not. In this way, you decide which information your employees can access. You can set this under the app Settings / General / Restrictions for the personnel file.
This is how certain tabs are shown or hidden:
Step 1: Select the user role for which the tabs should be hidden.
Step 2: To hide, uncheck the checkbox next to the eye icon and save the settings.If you want to show the tabs, activate the checkbox next to the eye symbol and click Save.
Step 2a: With the settings in the left tile you define which tabs this user sees for all other employees. In our example, line manager users (=Supervisors) do not have access to the tabs "Personal data", "Employment" and "Documents" of their (subordinate) team members.
Step 2b: With the settings in the right tile you define which tabs this user can see in the personnel file. In our example, Line Manager users cannot see the "Documents" and "Notes" tabs in their own file. (However, they would have access to the "Notes" tab in the personnel files of employees).
