Standard reports
Standard reports in jacando offer key insights without the need for extensive configuration. These reports come pre-formatted and are immediately available for use, providing users with quick access to essential HR data points.
Each standard report can be customized through filters, segmentation, and granularity adjustments, enabling users to focus on the most relevant data points for their analysis. They present data in graphs and charts to provide a clear understanding of trends and patterns. Additionally, a data table is available for users who prefer a detailed view of the underlying information.
Create a standard report
Begin by accessing the Reporting section through the navigation bar on the left-hand side.
Within the Reporting section select the "Standard Reports" tab. This will display a list of already created standard reports.
Click on the "Create New" button and choose the option "New Standard Report." This selection will open a new window where you can select a standard report.
Select the standard report by choosing the category and report type.
Once selected, click on the "Create" button to create your standard report. This action will generate and open a new report based on your selections.
Adding filters
The standard report can be further refined by adding additional filters. This guide will walk you through the process of refining your standard reports by adding extra filters, allowing you to tailor your analysis to specific criteria.
To begin, navigate to the standard report you wish to refine.
Click on "Add Row" to add a new filter to your report.
Choose the attribute you want to filter for from the available options. This could include parameters such as department, Age, or any other relevant data point.
Next, select the operator that best suits your filtering requirements. Depending on the attribute chosen, you'll have various operators available, such as equals, not equals, greater than, less than, and more.
Once you've chosen the attribute and operator, proceed to select the specific values you want to filter for.
After configuring your filter settings, remember to click "Apply and save" to ensure your changes take effect.
Customizing the chart
Every standard report in Jacando is visually represented by a chart, providing you with a clear and intuitive way to interpret your data. To tailor the chart to your specific needs, you have the following customization options:
Chart Type
Choose from three distinct chart types to best represent your data:
Line Chart
Bar Chart
Number
Segmentation
Segment your data based on relevant attributes to gain deeper insights into different subsets. For instance, segmenting an average salary report by gender can unveil structural differences and highlight disparities within your organization.
Granularity Adjustment
Select the appropriate time ranges to aggregate your data, catering to your reporting needs. Whether it's days, weeks, months, or other intervals, choosing the right granularity ensures your analysis aligns with your objectives and provides meaningful insights.
Working with the data table
In addition to charts, every standard report provides a comprehensive data table, giving users a detailed view of the underlying information. The data structure corresponds directly to the chart. Adjusting the granularity of the chart will also be reflected in the data for consistent reference.
Search Functionality
Easily locate specific data points across all fields within the table using the search bar.
Download Options
Export the data table in either CSV or Excel format for further analysis or aggregation.
Column Selection
Customize your view by selecting which columns to display or hide within the data table.
Add to favorite
You have the option to mark standard reports as favorites. When you do so, a yellow star appears next to the report in the overview of all standard reports, making it easily recognizable. This feature simplifies navigation, allowing you to quickly locate and access your preferred standard reports.
Share a standard report
You can share reports that you've created to share important insights with other employees. To share a standard report please follow these steps:
Navigate to the standard report you wish to share and click the option button in the top right corner.
Click on "Share"
Choose one or more employees you would like to share this report with. You can share it with users of various roles, except those restricted to employee-only roles.
After reading the warning message, marking it with "I understand" and selecting the "Save" button the report is shared with the selected employees and can be found in their reporting area.
Your shared report is now marked with a check symbol in the standard report overview.
Unshare a standard report
Removing an employee from the shared list
To remove one or more employees from the list of persons this report is shared with follow these steps:
Navigate to the standard report you wish to remove one or more employee from the list of people this report is shared with and select the option button in the top right corner.
Click on "Share"
Remove one or more employees from the list by selecting the trash can icon and selecting the save button afterwards.
The report is now no longer shared with the employees which have just been removed and therefor the standard report is no longer visible in the reporting area of those employees.
Add to dashboard
Selecting "Add to dashboard" enables you to include standard reports in a pre-existing dashboard. By aggregating important standard reports onto a single dashboard, you can streamline your workflow and enhance efficiency in data analysis.
