Tracking Pixel

What is pixel tracking and how can I use it?

In a published job advertisement, a tracking pixel can be included in the "Apply" field. A tracking pixel is a small image that is not visible to the naked eye. It is integrated into the HTML code. This code contains an external link to the pixel server.
If a user clicks on the "Apply" field, the HTML code is processed by the browser. The browser follows the link and calls up the (invisible) graphic. This call is registered and noted by the server in the log files.
Thus, a click on the "Apply" field is counted. This enables you as a customer to estimate how many applicants call up the application mask and possibly want to apply. Successfully submitted applications are counted with another tracking pixel.

We do not store any data with the tracking pixel. The feature only counts the number of clicks without drawing conclusions about (potential) applicants.

How can I activate the Tracking Pixel?

Usually, you receive the Tracking Pixel code in the form of a URL from a third-party provider. This URL can be stored by the jacando Customer Support Team in the settings of your career site.
By default, no URL is stored and therefore no tracking pixel is active.

Please contact jacando Customer Support via help@support.jacando.io and tell us the two URL's with which the tracking pixel should be embedded.
Possible is an embedding in the field "Apply" (in the job advertisement) and in the field "Submit" (in the applicant mask).
