Workflow Types

What is a workflow / approval process?

A workflow is an approval process that is triggered as one of the standard processes in companies for requests for absences, processing of sensitive data or other processes. To do this, a workflow must first be created and activated. After a request has been submitted, the responsible persons in your company - usually it is the HR department or the direct supervisors of the respective employees - can approve or reject the workflow.

You can also create the workflow so that only a notification is triggered and the workflow does not need to be approved further. This setting is used, for example, for a sick leave notification - so an employee can enter the sick leave notification, HR or the supervisor is informed directly and the absence is recorded in the system.
